Shannen Sued By Bank
Former “Charmed” star Shannen Doherty is being sued by City National Bank for non-payment of bank loans. The 38-year-old actress allegedly reneged on her promise to pay over $85,000.
According to the papers obtained by RadarOnline.com, Doherty “made, executed and delivered to CNB a Promissory Note in the original sum of $90,000″ on December 12, 2008 but paid failed to pay it all back by September 2009 as agreed upon.
She was to make one principal payment plus interest on June 1, 2009, but on June 18, the agreement was amended to extend to September 1. Doherty, known for her “90210″ role in the ’90s, failed to do so and the loan became delinquent.
CNB is now suing her for charges of breach of contract, money had and received, and unjust enrichment. In addition to the $85,000 and interest, it wants her to pay for suit and attorney fees.
