According to the film’s page on IMDB both Rachel McAdams and Shannen Doherty have secured roles in the stab happy sequel. This news quickly sent Bloody Disgusting into dig mode and they have confirmed that this news is indeed false. Shocking, I know, right? IMDB wrong? That almost never happens.

Speaking of DWTS, Shannen told E Online that joining the hit reality dance show produces ‘aches’ and ‘pains’. She said: “There are aches and pains, but I’m holding up pretty well. I was a sports girl, I wasn’t a dance girl”.

Derek Hough got a little more than he bargained for with his new “Dancing with the Stars” partner Nicole Scherzinger. The Pussycat Dolls singer left Derek with a cut on his face after accidentally kicking him during rehearsal for the show’s Season 10 premiere on ABC on March 22.
Derek told Billy Bush, who stopped by the studio for an interview with the ballroom pair on Thursday, that Nicole’s kick barely missed his eye.
Derek and Nicole will compete for the mirrorball trophy against stars including men’s figure skating Olympics gold medalist Evan Lysacek, former “Baywatch” babe Pamela Anderson, Bengals wide receiver Chad Ochocinco and actress Shannen Doherty. (Source)
Despite suffering stage fright, Shannen Doherty finally decided to do Dancing with the Stars after her father suffered a near-fatal stroke on Christmas.
“He lost his speech, he wasn’t mobile. He was really struggling, and still is,” she told People in a Tuesday report.
“When I mentioned [Dancing with the Stars] to him, he got really excited, and he wanted me to do it. I thought, if my dad can fight through having a stroke and the loss of being able to communicate, I think I can do this for him. So I figured I’m going to get over my fear for him.”
Doherty is one of 11 celebrity participants competing on Dancing with the Stars tenth season, which premieres March 22.
The former Scare Tactics and Breaking Up with Shannen Doherty host had previously turned down chances to compete on Dancing with the Stars, including an offer to compete on its initial Summer 2005 season.
“I have a huge fear of live audiences,” she explained to People. “I break out in hives, full blown panic attacks, and everything else.”
In addition to dealing with her fear of live audiences, Doherty also said she needs to build up her strength so she’s physically fit for the series.
“I don’t work out. I need to get my endurance up,” she told People. “I’m going to get in great shape.”
Doherty is also confident she’ll have a good time since fellow former 90210 co-stars Ian Ziering and Jennie Garth have already competed on the ABC reality series.
“Everyone who I know who’s been on the show has had a great time,” she told People. “It’s with hesitation and fear, but it’s going to be good to conquer a fear.”
